Provide high quality responsive and consistent resolutions to IT Incidents Ownership of systems Improvements to system efficiency Support and maintenance of server infrastructure Assessing security of existing environment Coordinate and support Disaster recovery Producing technical documentation Dealing with technical migrations Technical debugging Analysis of infrastructure and web applications Server administration Working with automation / DevOps tools 2nd line support Technical and administrative workloads Maintaining knowledge of current and future information security threats and challenges Managing the Infrastructure incident support queues activities on a day to day operational basis Working closely with other Operations teams and vendors to ensure there is a coordinated approach to infrastructure support Overseeing and managing the infrastructure support queue ensuring all tickets are resolved/fulfilled within SLA and customer satisfaction targets and other KPIs are achieved Work closely with various vendors driving the resolution of incidents and fulfilment of requests participating in regular service reviews Provide expertise and support in security engineering incident response Supporting Operations in their patching schedules and acting as an escalation point Technical Stack: Linux administration Managing Linux servers Password vault / CyberArk Monitors system performance to prevent slowdowns and crashes Icinga nginx & Reverse proxy Manage system backups restore and recovery steering Infosys Manage and maintain storage Role creation in IAM tool eg: Alice Agile model Jira Confluence & Xray Service Now Qualifications: Bachelors degree and 4 years of infrastructure support experience At least 3 years of experience in linux administration ITIL V3 Foundation certification Certification in Linux administration is an added advantage. Knowledge of Windows servers server management experience Server administration experience Knowledge of operational and application security
