Senior Legal Counsel

We are currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Legal Counsel based in Stockholm with the flexibility to work occasionally from our other European offices. The ideal candidate will have 610 years of extensive experience in consumer credits payment services and corporate legislation with a strong ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical applications.

The candidate we are looking for should be a team player and be prepared to handle a high volume of work while supporting international operations. You will be an integral part of our legal team which consists of 8 lawyers supporting the entire TF Bank Group. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Legal.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a skilled and experienced groupwide legal support function.
• Provide expert legal assistance and guidance to TF Bank across all areas including consumer credits payment services and corporate legislation.
• Translate regulatory requirements into practical applications ensuring compliance with laws and regulations in all operational activities.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures that support regulatory compliance and business objectives.
• Review and draft complex legal documents contracts and agreements.
• Conduct indepth legal research and analysis as needed.
• Act as a key advisor on legal matters providing strategic counsel to senior management.
• Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects effectively in a fastpaced environment.
• Bea true team player fostering collaboration and cooperation across departments and teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Law Legal Studies or related field (Masters degree preferred).
• 610 years of progressive experience in consumer credits payment services and corporate legislation.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations financial compliance and corporate legislations.
• Strong knowledge within privacy and information security regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical applications.
• Flexibility to travel to support international operations.
