What you will do

• Analyze business requirements and design solutions to meet those requirements
  

• Participate in reviews of system architecture code and design documents
  

• Build backend code for financial processes from scratch and modify existing core applications using Java and Spring
  

• Be the owner of the built components in production performing needed support troubleshooting and monitoring
  

Must haves

• 3 years of professional experience using Java and Spring
  

• Databases: Mongo Postgres
  

• Microservices and REST/API based development expertise
  

• Ability to work as part of a Scrum team
  

• Bachelor s degree in computer science/engineering or other technical field or equivalent experience.
  

• Experience developing applications with complex business logic.
  

Nice to haves

• ControlM or similar orchestration platform
  

• Drools or similar Business Rules Management System
  

• Experience tuning and maximizing performance for high volume
  

• Experience with Cloud Technologies such as Pivotal Cloud Foundry
  

• Asset Management / Investments / FinTech experience
  

• Working knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment and DevOps principles.
