Senior IT Administrator

As a Senior IT Administrator you will play a crucial role in maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure smooth and secure operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the organizations network servers and enduser devices as well as providing technical support to employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT administration excellent problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to technology management.

Tasks

• Design implement and manage Optotunes network infrastructure
• Administer servers ensuring optimal performance security and reliability
• Monitor network and system activities troubleshoot issues and implement necessary solutions
• Provide technical support to endusers addressing hardware software and networkrelated issues
• Collaborate with other departments to understand and address specific IT needs
• Implement and enforce security measures to protect Optotunes IT assets and data
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal security policies
• Collaborate with IT leadership to develop and execute strategic IT plans aligned with organizational goals
• Recommend and implement improvements to optimize IT processes
• Work with external vendors to procure IT equipment and services
• Coordinate relationships with thirdparty IT service providers
• Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of IT systems and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in IT administration focusing on network and systems management
• Expertise in networking protocols server administration (UNIX Windows) and security best practices.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and problemsolving with a strong foundation in ITSM tools and ITIL processes
• Advanced experience in VMWare / Proxmox virtualized server environments
• Solid technical knowledge in enterprise data storage solutions including design administration and maintenance
• Demonstrated ability in technical support across various operating systems Microsoft Windows Unix/Linux
• Understanding of release and change management processes cyber security principles and system securing methods
• Extensive experience with cloud solutions (AWS Azure) including cloud architecture design and deployment (IaaS)
• Manage and administrate Hybrid Azure AD MS Azure MFA endpoint management with MS Intune
• Knowledge in SharePoint Microsoft platforms Firewalls Network management
• Experience with Backup and restore solutions including tape systems
