Senior Fund Lawyer

Tasks

Ensuring the management of the legal and compliance framework of the Swiss fund management / Negotiation of all relevant contracts / Monitoring of funds and processing of fund documentation during the entire life cycle / Ongoing adaptation of fund contracts in case of formal changes such as splits mergers or liquidations / Monitoring of fund prospectus content and fund launch / Monitoring of fund registration / Cooperation with FINMA / Controlling of distribution and relationship management with internal and external stakeholders / Participation in the control and review of legal and compliance risks / Monitoring of regulatory requirements for the Swiss fund management company as well as for the funds / Creation of risk awareness regarding legal and compliance risks for senior management / Participation in group projects and ad hoc initiatives / SOPC for legal issues regarding fund management / Close cooperation with senior management.

Requirements

Master of Law or Economist with legal flair / Legal and compliance experience in Asset Management in a law firm BigFourCompany or with a regulatory authority / Knowledge of the Swiss or international fund industry / Knowledge of regulatory work (Switzerland Luxembourg) / Knowledge of fund regulations such as UCITS FIDLEG FinIA AIFMD MiFID etc. / Analytical and conceptual skills / High service orientation / Interest in a dynamic collaborative international working environment / Team player with decisionmaking skills / Solutionoriented personality with pragmatic approach / MS Office skills Excel PP / German as well as English.
