As a Full Stack Engineer at Temedica you will be a key player in a dynamic and agile environment taking charge of developing our data platform Permea with the aim to improve patient outcomes by enabling key players in the Life Sciences industry to leverage the power of data and desilo anonymised health data to provide a 360 patient understanding to all stakeholders of the healthcare system.

Your Role with us

• You drive backend development focusing on efficient data handling and API responses primarily through tRPC endpoints to facilitate clientserver interactions.
• You provide a key contribution in technical refinements and reviews providing your backend expertise and suggestions to guide technical decisions particularly around serverside logic database management and API layer.
• You drive and ensure the testing reliability and maintainability of our backend codebase contributing to the overall security and performance of Permea.
• You partner with the frontend and design teams to architect robust backend solutions that integrate seamlessly with our Next.js and Reactbased frontend.

What you bring to the table

• You have 4 years of experience as a Full stack Engineer with significant proficiency in backend development with Node.js and TypeScript; and exposure to frontend technologies like Next.js React Tailwind CSS.
• You are experienced with database management and have an understanding of SQL databases.
• You are skilled in implementing robust security measures authentication and authorization to safeguard user data and access controls securing API endpoints.
• You are proficient with automated and unit testing specific to backend development with testing libraries and frameworks.
• You are familiar with CI/CD pipelines GitHub Actions for workflow automation and have an understanding of containerization principles.
