• Lead the way in estimating costs for construction projects focusing solely on one scope to simplify and streamline the process.
  
• Dive deep into project details to accurately assess requirements and provide precise estimates.
  
• Collaborate closely with general contractors to gather information and develop winning bidding strategies.
  
• Review bids to ensure competitiveness and quality setting the stage for successful project execution.
  
• Share your expertise with junior estimators providing guidance and support to help them grow in their roles.
  
• Play a pivotal role in creating a pipeline of talent from our community mentoring and guiding untapped workforce members into fulfilling careers in construction.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree
  
• Relevant certification or degree in Construction (Preferred)
  
• Proven experience as a Senior Construction Estimator with a focus on subcontracting services.
  
• Strong understanding of construction methods materials and building codes.
  
• Proficiency in estimating and construction management software.
  
• 5 years plus experience in estimating
  
• Experience or a strong desire to mentor or train junior estimators.
  
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with a passion for mentoring and empowering the next generation.
  
• Ability to meet physical requirements including sitting for extended periods lifting up to 20 pounds dexterity for writing and computer use ability to hear and speak clearly ability to distinguish between colors and capability to navigate construction job sites which may involve dirt dust uneven surfaces outdoor weather conditions Minnesota varying temperatures climbing ladders walking long distances and climbing stairs.
  

• Relevant certification or degree in Construction Management or a related field.
  
• Training or mentoring experience is a plus.
