The frontline technical support professionals who receive and handle tickets. These professionals are responsible for providing customers with information resolving tickets providing specific consulting services and escalating tickets to a higher level of support. These professionals require greater technical skills and/or access rights than Level 1 Support. They re typically technical specialists and may also be responsible for participating in root cause analysis of problems. Understanding client requirements and developing customized solutions based on signed FRDs. Tickets about developed or customized system functionality will require investigation and resolution.
Technical DeliveryRelated
Attend to support tickets promptly
Troubleshoot complex support tickets
Respond to support tickets within the agreed SLA timeframe
Provide regular and timely client feedback
Ensure ticket handover is conducted from the initial consultant handling the case by ensuring they have updated all details on DevOps
Determine if a ticket pertains to system customization or development requiring further investigation from a developer
Provide feedback on assigned tickets every morning in F&O standup
Inform the support coordinator about the next steps
Set up client meetings to investigate resolutions or solutions
Ensure ticket information is updated on DevOps
Participate in client meetings to gather business requirements and map them to the solution capabilities
Conduct gap analysis from requirements gathering to the proposed solution
Complete the design/configuration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations and key thirdparty products
Produce project documentation such as Functional Requirements Document Customization Specifications User Acceptance Test Scripts and End User Training
Build integrations to perform data conversion tasks and additional integrations based on requirements
Participate in all tasks related to feature testing solution testing and user acceptance testing
Conduct enduser training for clients in oneonone webinar and classroomstyle settings
Provide application guidance for clients
Assist with escalation support for the help desk
Obtain and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications as applicable
Understand the development life cycle and support existing extensions
Senior developers must be able to lead and coach where necessary
Capture hours spent on support tickets promptly
Provide user training to the client where applicable as a resolution to a support ticket
Assist the ERP development team with queries
Timely resolution and closure of support tickets
People and Skills Development
Research and Development
Study different areas of the system to improve knowledge
Prepare for Dynamics 365 certifications not yet achieved
Improve knowledge of integration platforms for D365FO
Mentor and share knowledge with the extended ERP development team
Governance and Compliance Requirements
Align with company policy and strategy
Assist in driving ISO requirements and maintaining ISO certification
IT Service Management
Perform effective administration management and maintenance of all DevOps cases
Maintain oversight of all technical incidents and service requests in line with agreed service level agreements
Manage and maintain status incident service delivery status updates and ticket administration in DevOps
Deliver quality developments and customizations that address client requirements
Requirements:
Relevant IT degree
4 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365F&O
Microsoft 365 Certified: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Fundamentals MB920
Microsoft Certified: MB500
IT Degree
