Electrician -Domestic - Light Commercial Service (full time)

Your part in Our Vision:
As an Electrician at MJP Electrical Services Ltd, you will play a vital role in our exciting journey of growth. Your exceptional customer relationship skills and industry expertise are crucial to succeed in this role. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Responding to emergency callouts and providing timely solutions
- Carrying out and preparing Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) with attention to detail
- Upgrading consumer units to ensure safety and compliance
- Rewiring houses to meet the needs of our clients
- Installing EV charging points in residential and light commercial premises, contributing to a sustainable future
- Providing expert advice and accurate quotes for remedial work
- Ensuring the accurate submission of electrical certificates and maintaining client records
- Collaborating with our support team and working together to deliver exceptional service
- Expanding our client base through client management and effective communication
- Training and mentoring apprentices, shaping the future of the industry
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- 5+ years of experience as an electrician with a focus on domestic services
- Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations 18th Edition
- City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing or (2394/5)
- City and Guilds 236 parts 1 and 2
- UK Driving Licence (no more than 3 points)
- DBS Check and Credit check required

Preferred Skills and Experience:
- NICEIC-approved or similar certification demonstrating high standards
- Experience in Solar PV and Battery Storage installation, contributing to renewable energy solutions (not vital)
- Experience in EV Charging Point Installation, supporting the transition to electric vehicles

Working pattern: Full time, Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm (40 hours a week)
Split shifts 4 x 10hr rolling, Monday to Saturday 8am to 5pm, 10am to 7pm, 12pm to 9pm,
Salary: Starting from basic £40,000 - £50,000
