SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

Tasks

• Work with engineers and design teams throughout the full product development lifecycle.
• Responsible for FPGA designs and subsystems (involving ASICs) from concept to product.
• Responsible for RF system implementation throughout a product design cycle.
• Responsible for part selection prototyping factory bring up and lab bench debug and root cause.
• Determine and execute development integration bringup and test plans.
• Work with internal crossfunctional team and external CM to successfully bring AR product to market.
• Work with the Electrical Engineering hardware team to provide PCB board design. Design schematics complete board layouts assembly test debug and integrate designs into opto electromechanical systems.
• Perform lab measurements and factory tests as needed to validate the design and resolve any issues.
• Develop and deploy advanced manufacturingready test stations and accompanying software infrastructure for AR/VR products.

Requirements

• Successfully completed studies of electrical engineering optoelectronics telecommunications or a comparable university degree (BSc degree MSc degree or higher preferred).
• Professional experience in one or more of the following fields: Electronics development programming and scripting (e.g. C Python MATLAB etc.) FPGA design and/or ASIC design.
• 5 years experience in electronic product development (documentation test strategies for mass production)
• Experience the PCB design tool EAGLE.
• 4 years of FPGA design experience (VHDL Verilog SystemVerilog)
• Conformity test (EMV EMC CE )
• Experience with semiconductor laser and/or MEMS technologies is a plus.
• Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English (International applicants: Knowledge of the German language a plus)
• HandsOn Mentality.
• Ability to work as an autonomous and flexible developer in an interdisciplinary team.
• Outgoing personality and good communication skills.
• Willingness to travel.
