Job Description & Skill Requirement:
The primary responsible of the Senior Electrical Engineer is to integrate chiller and motor control hardware into the chiller system. In this capacity, the engineer will be primarily responsible to develop solutions that best meet the chiller product requirements by working with product management to define needs and supply chain to identify best suppliers. The preferred candidate will have a strong understanding of chiller and motor control systems and related component packaging.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical engineering for control and power electronic integration into chiller products. Experience in design and/or integration and troubleshooting of variable frequency power electronics is preferred.
Support our chiller manufacturing process in developing end-of-line diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting. Identify issues and help drive root cause and corrective action.
Help train the manufacturing engineers and assembly technicians in electrical troubleshooting associated with end of line controls tests.
Work with suppliers to correct issues, and improve the incoming quality of the control panels, starters, VFD assemblies.
Provide oversight of our control and motor control production.
Ensure code compliance is maintained.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
4+ years of experience 3 phase medium voltage applications and testing.
