Seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to lead and manage a diverse range of projects focusing on electrical systems and components. This role is pivotal in enhancing vehicle performance durability and manufacturing efficiency as well as in reducing costs.
Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience in electrical components and system design ideally in the mobile equipment automotive or material handling sectors.
- Proficiency in electronic circuit design embedded software design and microcontroller integration.
- Experience in overall vehicle control system development including wire harness and small electrical component design.
- Knowledge of PCB design testing and troubleshooting and an understanding of electromagnetic waves sensors image processing and radio waves.
- Demonstrated leadership in crossfunctional teams.
- Advanced knowledge of CPU and experience with automotive applications.
- Ability to devise and execute technical countermeasure plans.
- Experience in vehicle navigation system design deep cycle and lithiumion battery design and battery management systems.
- Proficiency in software development and integration with hardware.
- Familiarity with automotive vehicle communication protocols (CAN/LIN).
Essential Duties:
- Manage and lead the design and development of the electrical scope for projects.
- Oversee the entire electrical system design including component selection and system integration.
- Create detailed 2D drawings and prepare engineering release documentation for project subassemblies and installations.
- Actively participate in crossfunctional teams to ensure quality product development meeting schedules and cost objectives.
- Analyze market claims identifying root causes and developing effective countermeasures.
- Collaborate with both domestic and international suppliers and lead communications with company headquarters in Japan regarding electrical project scope.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
