CMSE Recruitment are currently recruiting a Senior EHS Engineer for our client in the Medical Equipment manufacturing industry in Cork. This is a 12-month contract, reporting to the EHS Manager.The successful candidate should be personable andshould beable to work independently as well as part of a thriving team.
Duties/Responsibilities the role will involve:
- Lead the program for introduction of ISO45001 introduction to the site
- Provide Safety support for various construction activities on the site
- Develop EHS training matrix for all roles on site
- Develop interactive EHS training modules and provide training of same
- Support the sites risk assessment programme including IH and Machinery risk assessments.
- Support EHS team in day to day EHS duties
- Provide EHS support to the facilities department and the wider business
Requirements
Key attributes:
- Organised and self-motivated
- Good communicator and a people person
- Ability to work under pressure
- Experience of working in a medical device/ pharma industry will be an advantage
Implementation of the ISO 45001 safety management system.
