SUMMARY

ANSYS, Inc. seeks Senior DevOps Engineer to work in Canonsburg, PA and various unanticipated locations.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the DevOps activities of software products and supporting systems.
Use advanced technical and problem-solving skills to help the team tackle complex issues, satisfy customer requirements, and accomplish development objectives.
Collaborate with team members to brainstorm best techniques to resolve complex technological infrastructure, build or packaging problems.
Perform moderately complex debugging and testing actions on code, processes, and deployments to identify ways to streamline execution and minimize errors encountered.
Build and package open-source third-party software packages.
Maintain tools, infrastructure and build environment for product creation staff.
Employ best practices and help to maintain them through technical reviews.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study, and three (3) years of experience in a related position.
Alternate Acceptable Education and Work Experience Requirement: Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study, or a related field of study and five (5) years of experience in a related position.
Work experience or academic coursework must have included:
two (2) years of experience with source code version control software, git;
two (2) years of experience with Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or TeamCity;
experience in DevOps, Software Development, or Test Automation;
experience with Python, Perl or other scripting language;
experience building frameworks to automate tasks and procedures; and
experience with an object-oriented language such as C++.
