The role
In Munich and New York, as well as Denver, Chicago, and London, our company is seeking aSeniorDevOps Engineer.Who is passionate about joining a modern IT department and supporting software deployment in private equity with the highest standards and certifications.
In this role, you will
- Build and Maintain Internal tooling for all parts of the product lifecycle.
- Create and Maintain CI/CD/CT pipelines.
- Maintain and Expand A multi-cloud, multi-OS Infrastructure.
- Provide General Support to The development team.
- Maintain and Expand Monitoring Facilities.
- Research new Technologies and Tools for the Product.
Requirements
- BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a Related Field
- 3-5 years of experience Anywhere in software creation or delivery (QA, Development, System Administration, SRE, DevOps) Candidates may apply and shift careers
- Solid Grasp of CI/CD/CT Concepts
- Programming Knowledge - must know at least 1 programming language well (Java, Python, or C# .Net).
- Scripting Knowledge - must know at least 1 scripting language well(preferably Groovy, Python, or Bash).
- Solid Grasp of System Administration Concepts(we are a mixed environment, so good practice is preferred over-specialization).
- Solid Experience in Infrastructure as a CODE ( Terraform, Puppet, Chef, CloudFormation).
Soft Qualifications

- Generally Friendly and Team-Oriented Personality.
Nice to have
- Experience in Containerization using Docker.
- Experience with using Jenkins is.
- Experience with AWS(EC2, Buckets, EBS, S3, Cloud Front).
- Experience with monitoring using Zabbix, ElasticSearch, NAGIOS/OSSIM.
- Experience with Virtualization and Hypervisors.
- Knowledge of Lean Principles and Agility Principles.
- Experience in Kubernetes.

In this role, you will: Be reporting to the CTO and managing a team of IT experts. Be a coach and support operational resources as a servant leader Lead the administration and development of a first-class operating environment (including Jenkins, CI/CD, databases, docker, storage, servers, networks, etc.) Responsible for the strategy planning (creating and monitoring) Ensure the highest level of availability for all systems and IT services for both customers and internal staff Work with software engineering to ensure best practices for new software deployment whilst maintaining the highest standards of systems availability and security Contribute to the design of physical systems' architecture and infrastructure platforms from an operational perspective, to achieve optimum results that meet the needs of the business (including Cloud services) Support client requests, including responding to RFIs and RFPs around IT standards along with the ISO 27001 certification and maintenance Drive continuous optimization of availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency as well as support the continuous improvement, testing, delivery, and deployment for our SaaS products Responsible for IT Security policies, testing and adherence, including penetration testing and Disaster Recovery policies to ensure 100% uptime alongside with establishing IT standards and processes and ensuring full documentation and adherence Responsible for the internal administration and security for the organization as a whole What you will bring to the table: Bachelor s or higher degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience Several years of experience in DevOps, databases and server management, experience in managing global teams, and demonstrated success in operating mission-critical infrastructure 3+ years experience in building scalable infrastructure on cloud services such as AWS; deep understanding of cloud computing, server and storage management, virtualization, project management, firewalls, and web servers deployment Strong proficiency with Jenkins, GitHub, CI/CD, and RDBMS databases is a must Experience establishing modern Security and Disaster Recovery standards and frameworks; high-level understanding of networking and security principles Experience with budget planning as well as able to build and monitor IT Budget Experience with system design in a SaaS product environment and understanding of how to manage IT in agile frameworks and Scrum Experience in Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Desk, MongoDB administration, and working with financial data centres is a plus
