(Senior) Devops Engineer (f/m/d)

Your tasks

Our highly motivated tech team of developers, product owners, designers and QAs is looking for a devops engineer who has a sweet tooth for Infrastructure as Code and experience with the adoption of serverless technologies.

Your Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced devops engineer to join our engineering team full time.

You will champion infrastructure related topics across product teams working closely with developers, product owners, designers, QAs. You will have the opportunity to shape our team and engineering processes. We are moving towards Infrastructure as Code and would like to adopt serverless technologies.

• Run production applications (mobile application backend, large scale ecommerce, ERP) by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health
• Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications
• Improve reliability, quality, delivery of our suite of software solutions
• Support engineering and product teams with dev, stage and UAT environments of our applications.
• Measure and optimise system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward and innovating to improve continuously.
• Support engineering and product teams in building performant features, picking the right tools for the job.

Requirements

Your Profile

• You should understand automation and be passionate about scalable, resilient, and fault tolerant systems
• You should bring a variety of best practices with linux system administration and AWS or similar platforms
• You should be familiar with a variety of web or mobile application infrastructures or have 3+yrs under your belt with comparable systems
• You should have a track record of writing clean and well documented code (and yes: beyond basic shell scripts :))
• English working proficiency with strong communication skills is a must.
