We are hiring for our client which operates under a comprehensive service umbrella encompassing strategy development user experience design user interface design software engineering testing marketing analytics and maintenance. This holistic approach converges to craft successful products. Operating on a hybrid model our client strategically positions its engineering team in India while critical functions such as UX UI strategy and lead management are situated in the United States. Unlike traditional outsourcing agencies our client prioritizes regular meetings and maintains a local presence aligning closely with the preferences of both their team and their clientele.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers & software engineering to create CICD pipelines supporting deployment for monolithic and microservicebased architecture.
- Manage and enhance existing CICD pipelines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in dev test and production environments.
- Write flexible infrastructure automation code for different environments with minimal changes.
- Migrate legacy manual infrastructure setup to code automation.
- Follow best security practices and stay updated with the latest security technology and trends.
- Ensure security availability performance scalability and automation of infrastructure.
- Attend conferences and educational events to stay competent.
- Perform regular audits and provide reports.
- Ensure reliable measurement and monitoring of infrastructure.
Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelors degree (Preferred) in Computer Science Information Technology related discipline or equivalent experience.
- 58 years of work experience with 5 years focused on infrastructure/DevOps engineering.
- AWS certification for DevOps Engineer Professionals or Solutions Architect Professionals is an added advantage.
- Strong background in Linux/Unix Administration is a must.
- Experience with AWS products like ELB EC2 ECS Lambda S3 CloudWatch CloudFront SES Route53 etc.
- Experience with scripting languages like Python Perl Ruby Bash Shell.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience with Jenkins Docker and preferably Kubernetes.
- Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of potential attack vectors and networking protocols.
- Knowledge of Agile Development processes.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an alwaysup alwaysavailable service.
- Experience in modern distributed solution architecture.
