Looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Developer with a focus on RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate should have 6 to 10 years of handson experience in API development demonstrating proficiency in Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) and a strong background in .NET technologies. Exposure to SQL Server stored procedures and a commitment to Test Driven Development (TDD) are crucial for success in this role. Must be a team player with proven expertise in guiding and helping the team with day to day work and solutions. Must also have handson experience with reviewing PR s.
Responsibilities
API Design and Development:
Contribute to the design and development of RESTful APIs following industry best practices. Implement WCF for efficient communication between applications.
Technology Stack:
Demonstrate proficiency in .NET framework .NET Core and experience with .NET 6 or 7.
Work with micro services architecture ensuring scalable and maintainable solutions.
Database Expertise:
Utilize SQL Server for data interactions.
Develop and optimize stored procedures to enhance database performance.
Test Driven Development (TDD): Actively participate in Test Driven Development practices ensuring the reliability and quality of API solutions.
API Management: Good to have: Familiarity with API Management tools for effective API lifecycle management.
Security and Resiliency: Implement security measures within APIs.
Collaborate on designing APIs with a focus on resiliency and fault tolerance.
Required Skills:
1. 610 years of handson experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
2.Proficiency in Windows Communication Foundation (WCF).
3.Strong background in .NET framework .NET Core and experience with .NET 6 or 7.
4. Exposure to micro services architecture and its implementation.
5.Database experience with exposure to SQL Server.
6. Ability to design and optimize stored procedures for enhanced database performance.
7. Commitment to Test Driven Development practices for reliable and robust APIs.
8. Familiarity with API Management tools is good to have. Emphasis on security practices in API development
