We are currently in search of a highly proficient Senior Data Engineer with a specialization in Spark and Scala. In this pivotal role you will lead the development and maintenance of distributed scalable and dependable data pipelines. Your primary responsibilities include crafting robust data pipelines for efficient ingestion and realtime processing of data at scale. Leveraging your expertise in Spark and Scala you will model data apply business logic and contribute to the entire application development life cycle ensuring seamless deployment from design to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage distributed scalable and dependable data pipelines using Spark and Scala.
- Apply business logic and create metrics to extract valuable insights from processed data.
- Model design develop code test debug document and deploy applications adhering to standard processes.
- Transform raw data into consumable curated views through harmonization and transformation processes.
- Analyze design develop and rigorously test applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Contribute to the evolution of Data Engineering practices with the potential to provide training and mentorship to peers.
- Troubleshoot application issues by writing code compiling debugging and thoroughly reviewing complex application code.
