Requirements
The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Obtain quotes from Insurers
Issuing of new policies
Renewal Processing
Amendments
Complete compliance requirements on each policy
Process and handle claim screenings and risk requirements
Mentor junior staff
Minimum qualifications in Short term insurance:
Full FAIS accreditation
RE5
CPD hours up to date
Experience:
Min 5 years Commercial Underwriting experience
Binder/Outsource experience preferable
Knowledge of Insurer Systems and Insurance Admin Systems will be preferred
