Description:

As a Senior Commercial Concrete Estimator you will spearhead the estimation process for a wide range of commercial construction projects our client undertakes nationwide. This role is designed for a professional who thrives on the challenges of accurately predicting project costs and has a passion for detailoriented work. Your expertise will directly contribute to the strategic planning and execution of projects such as commercial parking structures large commercial concrete footings foundations and significant commercial buildings like apartment complexes office buildings and vertical constructions. In this capacity your primary responsibility will be to prepare cost estimates encompassing all project facets meticulously. From the initial blueprint analysis to the final bid submission you will guide the estimation process through a comprehensive evaluation of proposal specifications drawings and prebid meetings. Requirements:

• A bachelors degree in engineering or construction management is preferred or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in commercial estimating.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings technical plans and contracts in English.
• Strong mathematical skills for accurate takeoffs and estimates.
• Familiarity with estimating techniques cost control and material pricing.

Skills and Certifications:

• Experience with Bid2Win software for bottomup estimating.
• Proven track record with largescale projects such as multilevel parking structures or hospitals.
• Previous experience as a Project Manager or Engineer is highly desirable.
• Ability to adapt to heavy civil/Heavy Highway estimating practices with our comprehensive training.
