RESPONSIBILITIES:

Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle.

Develop and/or modify COBOL programs while providing expertise from concept and design to testing.

Write well designed, testable, efficient code.

Ensure designs are following specifications and best practices.

Prepare and produce releases of software components.

Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

Experience required

COBOL (15 years of experience REQUIRED)

JCL (15 years of experience REQUIRED)

VSAM (15 years of experience REQUIRED)

CICS COBOL and BMS (15 years of experience REQUIRED)

DB2 SQL (6 years of experience REQUIRED)

DFSORT or SYNCSORT (6 years of experience REQUIRED)

TSO/ISPF (6 years of experience REQUIRED)

IBM MQSeries (4 years of experience HIGHLY DESIRED)

Unix System Services (1 year experience HIGHLY DESIRED)

Expeditor (1 year experience HIGHLY DESIRED)

Skills : COBOL, CICS, DB2,Oracle,SOAPUI or similar web services testing tools
