Medsolve are proud to be working with a client who are looking for an experienced Senior Childrens Residential Support Worker to join them on a permanent basis.

This is a fulltime permanent role. (NO SPONSERSHIP OFFERED)

My client offers a starting salary of up to 33500 (based on 13.50 per hour plus 8 sleeps per month).

The role of the Senior Childrens Residential Support Worker will involve:

• Contributing to the young person s care plans and risk assessments their review and implementation
  
• Forming effective relationships with young people their families (if appropriate) and external agencies
  
• Ensuring the home is kept clean and in a tidy condition adhering to the cleaning rota system encouraging the young people to participate as appropriate
  
• Ensuring that good quality records are maintained as required with supervision and advice from shift and Managers.
  
• Maintaining and promoting residential care work to high levels of professionalism
  
• Contributing to the educational and social development of each young person
  
• Meeting the emotional and physical needs of our young people
  
• Providing support to the deputy/manager of the home whilst on shift
  

Essential requirements of the Senior Childrens Residential Support Worker:

• Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People or equivalent (essential)
  
• Experience in a childrens home setting (essential)
  
• Supervisory experience (essential)
  
• Passion to help nurture young people
  
• Be able to work shift patterns including sleep ins (Rota plan given in advance but likely to be 2 on 4 off)
  
• Full UK driving licence (essential)
