Overview: As a Senior Business Analyst you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the development and testing of IT systems and models adhere to IT and model risk standards and procedures. You will be responsible for aligning design choices with bank policies and procedures supported by clear and concise test results. Your role will involve driving the delivery of new epics and features monitoring existing features and ensuring compliance with system parameters. Reporting to the Product Owner you will be instrumental in the endtoend delivery of features while collaborating closely with stakeholders to elicit requirements and refine stories for the squad.

Responsibilities:

  • Elicit requirements from various stakeholders using techniques such as workshops interviews and demonstrations.
  • Document clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Diversify requirements from global stakeholders into "nicetohaves" and "musthaves" safeguarding global standards.
  • Assess complex sanction screening algorithms rules and thresholds providing recommendations.
  • Refine stories aligned with the Product Owners objectives and process.
  • Simplify solutions and processes to communicate with international stakeholders effectively.
  • Collaborate with Global FEC Tech and Compliance colleagues to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
  • Utilize data analysis skills for data mapping and conceptualising solutions for data quality improvements.
  • Provide and solicit constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a proactive cando attitude with strong analytical skills.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in enterprise architecture landscapes.
  • Proactive and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Functional writing and documentation abilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 7 years of handson experience in the IT landscape of the financial sector preferably in Compliance topics.
  • Experience in Sanction Screening or similar FEC domains is preferred.
  • Understanding of Risk Shield architecture.
  • Strong affinity for data with experience in data quality assessments data lineage and privacy assessments.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar function.
  • Practical experience with model testing methods and Agile methodologies.
  • Helicopter view with the ability to oversee wide domains and understand the consequences of design decisions.
  • Fearless in challenging decisions and suggesting improvements.
