As Senior Backend Engineer (f/d/m) Platform you report directly to our CTO Raphael. You will support the development of our platform in close collaboration with a PM and help the team develop and grow. On top of that you want to do good with your job.

Your mission

• You will develop new features related to foundational services on the RaiseNow platform e.g. working on our event and webhook system security user and role management
• You will continuously improve existing features on the RaiseNow platform
• You will actively monitor production systems
• You will perform code reviews
• You will take on responsibility for the stability of the platform by joining our oncall duty team (additional compensation)
• You provide internal 2ndlevel support for other teams

Your profile

• Proficiency in the ecosystem of PHP together with Symfony (or similar PHP frameworks)
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and eventdriven systems (designing and reasoning)
• Gathering and translating highlevel requirements into technical specifications
• Familiar with the unit and functional testing as well as code reviews git workflows and continuous delivery approach
• Striving for simplicity and when its not possible keeping an eye on the devil in the details
• Fluent in written and verbal English (at least C1 level)
