Job Location: Dallas TX (Remote)

Remote Work: This is a remote position with quarterly travel to the Client site in Plano TX. Expenses covered.

Requirements:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Developer with expertise in Node.js 16.x Typescript and GraphQL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS services DevOps practices and experience with performance testing and unit testing frameworks. Leadership experience and the ability to guide team members are also essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

1. Design develop and deploy scalable and reliable applications on the AWS platform.
2. Utilize Node.js 16.x Typescript and GraphQL to build robust backend services and APIs.
3. Implement AWS services such as Lambda VPC OpenSearch and CloudWatch to optimize application performance and monitoring.
4. Conduct performance testing using JMeter & JMX and implement unit testing frameworks like Jest and Mockito to ensure code quality.
5. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define AWS architecture implement DevOps practices and establish CI/CD pipelines.
6. Develop Terraform/Terragrunt scripts for infrastructure as code (IaC) and automate deployment processes.
7. Follow Agile methodology and utilize tools like ServiceNow and JIRA for project management and issue tracking.
8. Mentor junior developers provide technical guidance and lead daytoday development activities.
9. Stay updated with the latest AWS features best practices and industry trends to continuously improve development processes.

Requirements:

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
2. 5 years of experience in software development with a focus on AWS technologies.
3. Expertise in Node.js 16.x Typescript and GraphQL for backend development.
4. Proficiency in AWS services such as Lambda VPC OpenSearch and CloudWatch.
5. Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter & JMX and unit testing frameworks like Jest and Mockito.
6. Experience with AWS architecture DevOps practices and CI/CD model of development.
7. Familiarity with Terraform/Terragrunt scripts for infrastructure as code (IaC).
8. Strong understanding of OOP SOA design patterns and industry best practices.
9. Leadership experience with the ability to guide team members and handle daytoday activities effectively.
