Are you a seasoned IT professional with a passion for providing exceptional application support and driving business value through technology? We are seeking a Senior Application Support Specialist to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in supporting our ICT Projects Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expertise on a wide range of applications, including 3rd line support for complex inquiries and service desk calls. Additionally, you will actively contribute to the development and maintenance of specific application systems, ensuring the maximum value is achieved for our organisation.
As a Senior Application Support Specialist, you will:
1. Lead the Customer-Focused Application Support Team: Play a senior role in a customer-focused application support team, providing expertise and acting as an escalation point for Application Support Officers.
2. Proactively Manage Application Systems: Undertake proactive research to develop, maintain, and administer specific application systems, identifying business benefits and maximizing value.
3. Oversee Application Monitoring: Oversee the monitoring of ICT applications, maintaining service levels, and liaising with relevant stakeholders.
4. Manage ICT Projects: Manage or play a senior role in ICT projects aimed at improving or reviewing ICT applications.
5. Provide Training: Provide training for Application Support Officers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
