Senior Android Developer

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of Android applications from concept to launch.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define design and ship new features.
• Ensure the performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform.
• Collaborate with backend services to build and integrate with APIs.
• Unittest code for robustness including edge cases usability and general reliability.
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
• Continuously discover evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Conduct code reviews assist with troubleshooting and resolve issues in production and nonproduction environments.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of the development process.
• Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies.
• Contribute to improving the teams technical development processes and tools.
• Coach and mentor junior team members providing technical guidance and support.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience in Android development.
• Expertise in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
• Proven track record of developing and deploying highquality Android applications to the Google Play Store.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
• Experience with API integration offline storage threading and performance tuning.
• Proficiency in debugging and performance optimization.
• Experience with unit testing and automation.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly.
• Solid understanding of version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools is a plus.
• Previous experience in mentoring junior team members is desirable.
