Duties and Responsibilities:


The Agile Transformation and Executive Coach will play a crucial role in driving the successful adoption of agile practices and principles across all levels of the organization. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual who can provide strategic guidance coaching and mentoring to senior leaders executives and teams to enable cultural transformation improve agility and enhance organizational effectiveness. This position offers a unique opportunity to lead meaningful change initiatives that contribute to the delivery of highquality services and outcomes for our citizens.


This role is responsible for ensuring that the Agile development practices are followed and adjusted as required. This role will be leading the transformation of a public sector organization into a more agile adaptive and customercentric enterprise. Duties include but may not be limited to:

Lead and guide the organizations Agile transformation strategy working closely with executive leadership to align with business objectives.

Develop and implement Agile frameworks processes and practices tailored to the organizations unique needs.

Provide coaching and mentorship to Clevel executives and senior leaders fostering an Agile mindset and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Support leaders in understanding and navigating the complexities of organizational change in an Agile context.

Coach Agile teams at all levels from development teams to leadership to enhance collaboration communication and efficiency.

Foster a culture of selforganization innovation and accountability within Agile teams.

Design and deliver training programs on Agile principles frameworks and practices for various levels of the organization.

Create and facilitate workshops and interactive sessions to enhance Agile understanding and adoption.

Develop and execute change management strategies to ensure successful Agile transformations.

Collaborate with stakeholders to address resistance and build a supportive environment for change.

Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of Agile initiatives.

Implement a feedback loop for continuous improvement based on metrics and stakeholder feedback.

Provide knowledge transfer to client and team members.

Lead and facilitate the organizations agile transformation efforts by developing and implementing strategic plans roadmaps and change management strategies to promote the adoption of agile methodologies and practices.

Provide oneonone coaching and mentoring to senior leaders executives and key stakeholders to help them understand and embrace agile principles foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement and lead organizational change initiatives effectively.

Design and deliver leadership development programs workshops and training sessions to equip leaders with the knowledge skills and mindset required to lead agile teams drive innovation and create highperforming adaptive organizations.

Assess the organizations culture identify opportunities for improvement and develop strategies and interventions to foster a culture of transparency trust collaboration and experimentation that supports agile ways of working.

Coach Portfolio Program and Team levels with implementing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)

Help Epic owners with capability and feature decomposition developing acceptance criteria and testable specifications and provide analysis of common vs. unique capabilities and features across services and benefit types.

Lead release planning activities including developing capability maps feature maps and story maps that support rapid releases of minimum viable products and incremental delivery of enhancements.

Support senior decisionmakers with plans reports metrics analyses and recommendations.

Lead the planning for agile transformation and coaching activities including schedules and coaching implementation plans that incorporate the Coaches approach of guidance instruction and direction provided to ensure implementation and sustainment of the Agile approach and monthly status reports.

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:


Proven experience as an Agile Coach and in leading Agile transformations within large organizations.

Extensive experience coaching executives and senior leaders.

Strong understanding of various Agile frameworks (Scrum Kanban SAFe etc.) and the ability to tailor approaches to specific contexts.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.

Agilerelated certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or SAFe certifications are highly desirable.

Experience in change management and organizational development.

10 years of experience in agile coaching organizational change management and executive leadership development preferably in a public sector or large enterprise environment.

Strong understanding of agile methodologies frameworks (e.g. Scrum Kanban SAFe) and principles with practical experience implementing agile practices at scale and driving organizational change.

Proven track record of coaching and mentoring senior leaders executives and agile teams to improve agility enhance collaboration and achieve business results.

Excellent communication facilitation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport influence stakeholders and inspire change at all levels of the organization.

Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities with the ability to assess complex organizational challenges develop actionable strategies and drive results.

Relevant certifications such as Certified Agile Coach (CAC) Certified Scrum Trainer (CST) or Professional Certified Coach (PCC) are highly desirable.


Minimum Education:


Bachelor s Degree Required


Required Certifications:


Scrumcertified by Scrum Alliance or Scrum.org

SAFe Certification Required

SPC Strongly Preferred

Organizational Change or Leadership Coaching certifications preferred


Other:


Local to Minnesota candidates preferred; Remote candidates will be considered.

US Citizens Preferred but Green Card candidates considered.
