Key accountabilities

We are looking for aSenior Accounts Payable professional with 35 years experience in a fastpaced shared services environment driven to enable success of our newly created Accounts Payable team.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Process code and compliance approve vendor invoices and expense reports
• Prepare payment proposals and reconcile vendor accounts
• Prepare and analyze invoice status reports for management
• Analyze and respond to internal and external queries
• Follow up and resolve outstanding items
• Prepare operating procedures and user manuals
• Ensure all invoices are processed within a standard SLA
• Ensure compliance with relevant VAT accounting and control requirements
• Support compliance with approval processes for incoming and outgoing invoices purchase orders and statements of work
• Support delivery of the department projects and UAT
• Drive process and quality improvements initiatives
• Support preparation of departmental documentation
• Coordinate junior team members and support new joiners of the team

Requirements

• 35 years endtoend AP experience and expert knowledge of P2P flows systems regulations
• IFRS internal controls and VAT requirements knowledge
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Dynamics 365 ERP is preferred
• Project and stakeholder management experience
• Supervisory experience
• Numerate with advanced Excel and financial data analysis skills
• Minimum an undergraduate degree in business or finance
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Manages conflicting demands and priorities
• Identifies lessons learned from challenging incidents
• Proactive in solving problems and developing reliable business solutions
• Monitor delivery performance and quality using metrics and status reporting
