Senior Accountant - Reporting 6 month contract

To support our students we have built / purpose of role

This is a fulltime position that can be worked remotely or in one of our many offices around the globe.

What are the main responsibilities for this role

• Support the monthend close process and prepare the monthly group consolidation
  
• Ensuring timely and accurate preparation of monthly reporting to business unit department and country heads
  
• Work closely with stakeholders and provide financial insights to support decisionmaking
  
• Coordinate with external accountants and tax advisors for the preparation of entity financial statements and tax returns
  
• Adhoc financial analysis and reporting as required
  
• Supporting the SVP Finance and Senior Group Accountant
  
  

What skills and experience are required

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field

• CA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.

• Proven experience as a Senior Accountant in a reporting role preferably in a technology or professional services company with global operations

• Proficiency in using financial software (Xero Spotlight Netsuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Ability to work independently
