Senior Accountant

Position Overview:

As a Senior Accountant you will play a crucial role in our finance department overseeing a variety of accounting functions and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. You will be responsible for managing daytoday accounting operations analyzing financial data and providing strategic insights to support decisionmaking. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the monthend and yearend close processes including preparation of journal entries account reconciliations and financial statement review.
• Analyze financial data and trends to identify variances anomalies and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare and review financial reports budgets forecasts and variance analyses to support management decisionmaking.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles standards and regulations in all financial activities.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff members fostering their professional development and growth.
• Assist with external audits and tax filings ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial information.
• Stay current on accounting standards regulations and industry trends to ensure best practices are applied.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in accounting finance or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• 5 years of experience in accounting roles with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Detailoriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
