Semi-Skilled CNC Turner

Cathelco part of the Evac Group a world leading marine industry supplier has an opportunity for a Machine Operative. Cathelco has over 60 years experience in the manufacturing of equipment for ships and off shore installations including marine growth protection systems and impressed current cathodic protection systems. Cathelco has a history of being at the forefront of cutting edge marine technology worldwide.

The role will assemble and construct products for corrosion protection products to Cathelco design and the customer standards and expectations. Were seeking a SemiSkilled CNC Turner with experience in operating Fanuc Controller to contribute to our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC machines under supervision ensuring precision and efficiency in production.
• Learn and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to assist in programming and executing machining operations.
• Collaborate with skilled CNC Turner and the production team to meet quality and production standards.
• Utilize handson experience with Fanuc Controller systems to optimize machine performance with guidance.
• Assist in routine maintenance on machines to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• Basic experience or training in CNC machining processes.
• Proven handson experience with Fanuc Controller systems.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Willingness to continue developing skills in CNC turning operations.
• Detailoriented with a commitment to precision and quality.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
