Requirements

• Experience Requirements: Candidates must have at least one year (2040 hours) of experience in detainee or prisoner guard duty or similar roles. Nonqualifying experiences include unarmed security guard or TSA roles. Relevant training/education may substitute for experience.

• Educational Substitutions: Advanced posthigh school training or a Bachelors degree in any field can fulfill the experience requirement. Military Police or TCLOSE certifications are also acceptable.
