Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
- Security Architecture Design: Develop and implement comprehensive security architectures for applications and cloud environments ensuring the confidentiality integrity and availability of sensitive information.
- Application Security: Conduct security assessments and reviews of applications identifying and mitigating security risks. Provide input for secure coding practices and provide guidance to development teams whenever needed.
- Cloud Security: Design and implement security controls and best practices for cloud platforms including but not limited to AWS Azure or Google Cloud. Evaluate and select security solutions that align with cloud architecture.
- Identity and Access Management (IAM): Define IAM strategies and implement access controls to enforce the principle of least privilege. Ensure effective management of identities authentication and authorization mechanisms.
- Threat Modeling: Perform threat modeling for applications and cloud environments to identify potential security weaknesses. Develop and implement strategies to address and mitigate identified threats.
- Security Policies and Standards: Develop and enforce security policies standards and guidelines for applications and cloud infrastructure. Ensure alignment with industry best practices and compliance requirements (firewalls).
- Incident Response: Develop and maintain incident response plans. Lead investigations and provide guidance during security incidents ensuring a timely and effective response.
- Security Automation: Implement security automation and orchestration tools to streamline security processes and enhance the organizations ability to respond to security events.
- Collaboration and Training: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers system administrators and network engineers to integrate security into the entire development and deployment lifecycle. Conduct security awareness training for relevant stakeholders.
- Security Governance: Establish and maintain a robust security governance framework. Provide regular reports to executive leadership on the state of security within applications and cloud environments.
