We are seeking a Search Engine Marketing (Paid Search, SEO, Paid Shopping, Display & YouTube) expert who has managed at least 6 figures per month in ad spend throughout their career. If you have experience managing spend for a D2C brand, that's a major plus. This position would require you to work on developing and managing SEM and PPC display campaigns, keeping your eyes on the data, while at the same time being able to think big picture and make our dollars work harder. Additionally, you would optimize the site to rank organically in Google for top potential KWs and to own the SERP for our vertical. You would report directly to the Director of Digital Growth for our brand.

You Have:

  • A Minimum 3+ years of experience managing ad spend across Google platforms. If you have experience managing ad spend across other paid search platforms, that's a major plus.
  • Must manage large marketing budgets $300k + per month (more preferably)
    Must have strong DTC/CPG experience
  • Spent at least 6 figures in ad spend ($300,000/month ad spend minimum) across your career. The more experience you have on spending (and spending efficiently, the better)
  • Deep knowledge liasoning with dev teams to set up events on different ad platforms as well as ensuring all the events are setup properly and firing at the appropriate places
  • Experience with walking through a reporting structure to communicate/display ad performance across different platforms and report on on-going experiments that need to be tested
  • Ability to interpret, compile, summarize and communicate learnings from primary and secondary data, striving to continuously improve the ROI of our budget
  • Direct experience with SEM Campaign design, development, and management including account structure, keyword research, bid strategies and management, ad copy writing and other core PPC functions
  • Knowledge of advanced interactive targeting technologies
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Expert writing skills specific to SEO to update long form content across the site & blog
  • A creative mind to build & manage a content calendar
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to details, deadlines, budgets and timelines
  • Exceptional analytical and Excel expertise combined with strong written and communication skills
  • Passion for digital media and a drive to continue to learn more and keep up-to-date with latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing
  • You will work on:

  • Providing strategic insight on emerging trends and industry developments as they impact the Search Engine landscape
  • Launching ad campaigns across Search Engine platforms
  • Becoming an expert on our goals and develop creative solutions that boost the brand's reputation and conversions
  • Gaining a deep understanding of our products and competitors so you can launch the most effective ad campaigns that have high engagement
  • Liaising with the branding/creative team to ensure all ad assets (static imagery & video) and ad copy are on par with the brand guidelines
  • Presenting weekly reporting on campaign performance, highlighting what's worked, new experiments to run, etc.
  • Advising the director of Digital Growth on improving their bottom of funnel performance to lower our overall CAC and improve LTV
  • Staying on top of internal & cross department communication + demonstrate strong project management skills
  • Developing & executing a content strategy & calendar to supplement all paid search efforts within the Search Engine Marketing landscape.
