Scientist Protein Biology

What will you do

Perform laboratory experiments to develop assess or transfer methods/procedures specifically protein purification and biochemical analysis.

Help develop and build the foundation of new cell or protein based bioassays by providing technical and scientific support.

Responsible for performing indepth data analysis and interpretation.

Communicate findings and discuss relevance of your data to a multidiscipline team consisting of upstream and downstream process development scientists quality control quality assurance process engineers and our customers.

How will you get here

Education

Bachelor Master or PhD in Biochemistry Immunology physiology or related field

Experience

• Bachelors degree with 5 years of proven experience related to the job description; Masters degree with 3 years; PhD with practical scientific experience
• Knowledge and expertise in performing membranebound or soluble protein purification using HPLC; preferable experience using AKTA system
• Experience handling and maintaining mammalian cell culture with a proven understanding of cell and molecular biology
• Technical experience with antibodyantigen detection test including ELISA affinity and beadbased immunoassay.
• Good understanding of GLP and GMP guidelines for assay development
