Brief

Are you a passionate and independent Scientist II with expertise in molecular biology and protein purification Were looking for a talented individual to join our team in Ridgefield CT on a 6month contract basis. This dynamic role offers a competitive salary range of $36$41/hour and the chance to contribute to groundbreaking research in a fastpaced environment.

Responsibilities:

Design plan and execute experiments independently leveraging your scientific expertise to achieve project goals.

Develop optimize and validate assays as needed.

Culture and maintain cell lines with emphasis on CHO cells for protein expression.

Perform highthroughput clonings using Infusion and Golden Gate methodologies.

Express and purify proteins using highthroughput processes and methodologies.

Work collaboratively across diverse teams while managing multiple projects concurrently.

Troubleshoot experimental procedures and provide guidance to lab personnel.

Prepare technical reports publications and oral presentations.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in science or a related field.

35 years of experience as a Scientist II or equivalent.

U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required.

Strong expertise in molecular biology techniques including:

Geneious software proficiency

PCR cloning and nucleic acid extraction

HT protein expression and purification

Experience with mammalian cell culture specifically CHO cells.

Familiarity with data analysis software (MS Word PowerPoint Excel Prism GraphPad etc.) is a plus.

Excellent communication teamwork and problemsolving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment.
