School Social Worker

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is seeking dedicated and compassionate School Social Workers (PEL) to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of students in Illinois school districts. As a School Social Worker you will play a crucial role in supporting the social emotional and academic wellbeing of students by providing counseling intervention services and collaborating with educators families and community resources.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group counseling to students to address social emotional and behavioral challenges as well as to support academic success.
  
• Conduct assessments and screenings to identify students needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
  
• Collaborate with teachers administrators and other school staff to create and implement strategies for supporting students social and emotional development within the school environment.
  
• Advocate for students rights and access to resources including mental health services housing assistance and other community support.
  
• Develop and maintain relationships with parents/guardians and community organizations to facilitate comprehensive support for students and families.
  
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress coordinate services and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed.
  
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions progress notes and service delivery.
  

Requirements

• Masters degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement.
  
• Experience working with children and adolescents in educational or community settings with a focus on addressing social and emotional needs.
  
• Knowledge of counseling theories and evidencebased practices for supporting students mental health and wellbeing.
  
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  
• Commitment to cultural competence equity and social justice in working with students and families from diverse backgrounds.
