School Social Worker

Our team is looking to expand! Right now we are seeking a fulltime School Social Worker to work at our amazing partner school near Palos Heights Illinois. In this position the Social Worker will be working with a caseload of K5th grade kiddos.

The position roles would include:

Provides school social work services to students who are atrisk for school failure and/or are demonstrating social/emotional/behavioral problems within the school setting.

Provides direct and indirect school social work services as a related service in support of special education.

Acts as a liaison between the home school and community providers to access mobilize and coordinate services.

Provides crisis intervention services as needed.

Performs other comparable duties of a like or similar nature as apparent or assigned.

Requirements

• LSW or LCSW required
  
• Possess at least a Masters degree in Social Work.
  
• Compulsory credentials include holding a PEL Certification endorsed in either Social Work or School Support personnel.
