Responsibilities for SCCM engineer

• Troubleshoot software updates on clients
• Troubleshoot desktop problems in line with project tasks policies
• Building and testing deployment packages
• Creating testing updating and deploying Windows Desktop Images
• Reporting on the desktop environment through SCCM
• Manage Windows Desktop Patching through WSUS
• Manage Desktop Application Patching
• Analysis of metrics to evaluate the success of the desktop management program
• Maintain the efficient and effective operation of upgrades or migrations by implementing changes as required
• Participate in information technology and infrastructure projects

Requirements :

Qualifications for SCCM engineer

• Proven time management and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively in a team setting as well as independently with minimal guidance
• Technical writing skills to create SCCMrelated documentation and training material
• 5 or more years of handson experience with Windows Desktop Operating Systems and related OS Scripting skills (Powershell WSH Batch)
• Scripting skills (Powershell WSH Batch)
• Must have SCCM 2012 experience in addition to any previous versions
• Minimum of 4 years of Packaging & Deployment experience
• Minimum of 2 years of Scripting (PowerShell VB Script) experience
