Job Description:

As a Saw Operator youll play a crucial role operating various sawing equipment such as bandsaws circular saws and chop saws to cut metal accurately. Youll interpret work orders blueprints and specifications to determine cutting requirements and adjust equipment settings accordingly for optimal performance. Precision is key as you measure and mark materials for cutting ensuring they meet dimensional specifications. Safety is paramount and youll follow all safety procedures and regulations including using personal protective equipment and handling hazardous materials. Additionally youll inspect finished cuts for quality and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to maintain efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

Must have experience with a grinder bandsaws and circular saws.

Ability to read a tape measure.

Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Must have 2 years of relative experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
