Overview:
The SAP ABAP role is crucial to our organization as it involves customizing developing and implementing SAP solutions to improve business processes. The role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth functioning and integration of SAP systems within the organization ultimately contributing to improved efficiency and effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and customize SAP applications using ABAP programming language
- Experience in RAP.
- Integrate SAP systems with other applications and databases
- Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Perform debugging and troubleshooting of SAP applications and reports
- Create and modify SAP reports interfaces forms and enhancements
- Provide technical support and assistance to endusers
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SAP programs
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle including requirement gathering design coding testing and deployment
- Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of SAP solutions and processes
- Document technical specifications and user guides
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to the team and endusers
- Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and advancements
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver integrated solutions
- Support system upgrades patches and enhancements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- 3 years of experience in SAP ABAP development
- Strong knowledge of ABAP programming language and SAP development tools
- Experience in SAP modules such as FI CO MM SD and HR
- Proficiency in SAP integration techniques and technologies
- Ability to perform debugging and performance optimization in SAP programs
- Knowledge of SAP security and authorization concepts
- Experience in customizing and enhancing standard SAP functionalities
- Understanding of SAP data dictionary and database concepts
- Strong problemsolving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Certification in SAP ABAP development is a plus
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA development is an advantage
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices
