Overview:

The Sales Team Leader plays a crucial role in leading and motivating the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. They will be responsible for providing guidance coaching and training to team members as well as maintaining a positive and productive work environment. The role involves strategic planning implementing sales strategies and ensuring the teams compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets
  • Provide guidance coaching and training to team members
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans
  • Monitor team performance and provide feedback for improvement
  • Ensure adherence to sales policies and procedures
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and goalsetting
  • Identify opportunities for sales process improvement
  • Handle escalated customer issues and provide resolutions
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop sales goals
  • Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of new team members
  • Report on sales metrics and present sales forecasts to management
  • Coordinate with marketing to develop lead generation campaigns
  • Resolve team conflicts and promote a collaborative environment
  • Stay updated with industry trends and competition
  • Contribute to the development of sales training programs

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Proven experience in sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking capabilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in sales management software and CRM tools
  • Sound understanding of sales and marketing principles
  • Effective negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to analyze sales data and draw meaningful insights
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management practices
  • Proactive and resultsoriented mindset
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings or team training
  • Certification in sales or leadership (e.g. CSE CSL)
