Job Description:
As a Sales Development Manager you will play a pivotal role in driving the adoption and sales of their regenerative and sustainable agricultural solutions in the UK and global markets. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities building strategic partnerships and driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and relationship management.
Responsibilities:
- Market Research and Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers market trends and competitive landscape in the agriculture sector with a focus on regenerative and sustainable practices.
- Analyze customer needs and preferences to tailor sales strategies and product offerings accordingly.
- Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation cold calling networking and attending industry events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including farmers agricultural associations government agencies and industry influencers.
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the UK and global markets.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our regenerative and sustainable agricultural solutions.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Cultivate longterm relationships with customers providing ongoing support and guidance to maximize satisfaction and retention.
- Address customer inquiries concerns and feedback in a timely and professional manner ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including marketing product development and customer service to align sales efforts with company objectives and customer needs.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and implementation of agricultural solutions meeting customer expectations and project timelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Agriculture Business Administration or related field.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in sales business development or account management preferably in the agriculture industry.
- Proven track record of success in selling regenerative or sustainable agricultural solutions in the UK or global markets.
- Strong understanding of agricultural practices industry trends and environmental sustainability principles.
- Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and credibility with diverse stakeholders.
- Resultsoriented mindset with a focus on achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Selfmotivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
