Overview
The Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) team plays an essential role in translating Microsofts Commercial Strategy to a local execution plan and driving operational excellence to achieve the greatest results possible. Our team drives crossRegion crossArea and crossSubsidiary insight and execution excellence bringing strategy and priorities to life by accelerating the pace of transformation and enabling Microsoft to deliver business impact on a scale.

The Business & Sales Operations (BSO) group is the center of excellence for crossbusiness execution performance planning and sales operations. The team helps scale execution operationalize business & sales programs and drive business sales and partner transformation that forward Microsofts business objectives.

The Sales Operations Management role is an integral part of BSO and reports to the Regional Sales Operations Lead. Regional Sales Ops Lead is responsible for leading sales planning driving sales discipline business analytics and improving productivity to enable sales teams to reach maximum impact in line with company/Area strategy.

This role assists to execute the following for the identified Solution Area/s:
  • Drives e2e business insights to help understanding levers of growth
  • Play a critical path in partnering with regional and area team in maximizing revenue growth
  • Drives the process for sales operations planning for the fiscal year across all segments to maximize Area performance
  • Drives sales discipline and enables new habits to help sales teams achieve targets. Provide highquality backend support (tools processes information) coupled with timely datadriven insights.
  • Leads standardization of processes tools and drives continuous improvement to optimize productivity.


Responsibilities


  • Play pivotal role in defining and driving performance across CSA and other operational metrics
  • Partner with regional and area teams in driving actionable outcomes in line with aspirational goal
  • Champions and approves execution excellence for sales operations fundamentals and innovation in the sales operations function across segments and solution area
  • Partner with Core in defining regional strategy

Qualifications

Qualifications
Required Experience & Skills
  • Experience and deep knowledge within Sales Operations Business Planning Sales Excellence and/or Finance
  • History of driving rigor and sales discipline
  • Deliver endtoend deep data analysis and actionable strategic insights
  • Focus on providing process optimization by understanding the desired business outcome
  • Innovate to deliver standards which enable speed efficiency and scale in the business
  • Proven communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Experience & Skills
  • Familiar with financials pipeline scorecards and other internal measurement tools
  • Functional (Partner Services Sales Marketing) knowledge
  • Understanding of key sales management metrics for process (coverage velocity close rate etc.) and outcomes (scorecard metrics etc.)
  • Executive exposure and crossfunctional stakeholder management
  • Technology industry experience
  • Change management experience
  • People and organizational leadership
  • Data Analytics and BI experience
  • Governance and program management experience
  • Process improvement and quality management experience (Six Sigma etc.)
Education
  • Bachelors degree (B.S./B.A.) required and/or experience in relevant fields e.g.: Business Administration Organizational Design Finance Information Systems or related field. Masters degree beneficial
  • 4 years experience in or leading sales operations project management analytics compensation sales performance analytics finance/business analyst process improvement business development consulting finance marketing or a related field
