We are seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Sales Manager to join our Marine Business team at Evac Oy. In this role you will be responsible for following up on Evacs sales process promoting and selling Evac solutions with a primary focus on Navy Offshore and Windfarm vessel customers. You will actively cultivate new and existing customer relationships monitor market trends and incorporate customer feedback into Evacs organizational development. Travel is a key component of this role primarily within Europe.

Key Account Management Task Summary:In addition to Sales Manager responsibilities this role includes a Key Account Manager (KAM) component. As a KAM you will oversee overall customer relationships drive product and system sales and act as the primary point of contact between the client and Evacs international crossfunctional teams. Similar to the Sales Manager role extensive travel is anticipated.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and sustain solid relationships with key clients.
  • Lead sales projects for selected customers.
  • Participate in developing Evac partner networks.
  • Negotiate contracts and meet established deadlines.
  • Address and resolve clients concerns and development needs.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the client and Evacs internal teams.
  • Communicate and collaborate with various departments to ensure clients needs are met.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of clients needs and requirements preparing customized solutions as needed.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Financial: Order intake pipeline development net sales project gross profit risk mitigation account receivables.
  • Strategic: Understanding clients vision customer satisfaction (NPS) competitor analysis market intelligence development.

Operational Tasks:

  • Review RFQ material prior to submitting to Sales Support.
  • Lead sales projects from inquiry to contract signing.
  • Follow up on sanction check procedures.
  • Prepare commercial proposals with Sales Support.
  • Collaborate on technical sales materials.
  • Investigate technical solutions with Sales support and Product Managers.
  • Agree on pricing/margins with supervisor.
  • Lead Technical and Commercial negotiations with customers.
  • Check proposal details and submit proposals to the customer.
  • Lead customer negotiations on terms and conditions.
  • Follow up company processes from proactive sales to project handover.
  • Closing contracts as per Sales Process.
  • Store sales documents and update the CRM system.
  • Prepare handover documents with Sales Support.
  • Participate in or lead project handover meetings.
  • Coordinate project execution with project management.
  • Join project closing and lessons learned sessions.
  • Collect customer feedback and share with the Evac organization.
  • Transfer customer input to product and marketing departments.
  • Coordinate technical assistance to customers.
  • Act as a link between the customer and back office.
  • Work according to QEHS and Evac Code of Conduct guidelines in daily work.

Key Requirements for the Job:

  • Previous sales experience within the maritime industry is advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of international marine industry stakeholders business processes and functions.
  • Master/Bachelors degree in a relevant technical field with an interest and willingness to learn technical features of Evacs equipment portfolio.
  • Excellent written and verbal English language skills.
  • High energy levels to proactively drive for sales results.
  • Aboveaverage communication collaboration and negotiating skills.
