About This Role: Founding Sales Director

Writesonic is on the lookout for a dynamic Founding Sales Director to spearhead our sales initiatives. This role is not just about leading; its about being handson setting the foundation of our sales department and crafting the sales playbook from scratch. If you thrive in fastpaced environments have a knack for building teams and excel in strategic sales planning in the SaaS industry we want you.

Opportunities and Challenges

  • Foundational Impact: As the first Sales Director youll have the unique opportunity to shape the sales culture at Writesonic building the team and strategies from the ground up.

Role Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience: 5 years of proven sales leadership in the SaaS industry with a track record of building successful sales teams and strategies.
  • Education: An MBA from IIM or equivalent prestigious institution is highly desirable.
  • Market Expertise: Handson experience with the US and EU markets understanding their unique challenges and opportunities.
  • Leadership: Ability to recruit train and inspire a sales team fostering a culture of achievement and innovation.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated ability in crafting sales playbooks experimenting with sales strategies and scaling sales efforts in a startup environment.
  • HandsOn Approach: Willingness to dive deep into operational details lead from the front and engage directly with clients and team members.
  • Motivation: High energy level and motivation to navigate the challenges of a fastgrowing tech startup environment.
