Contract opportunity for a Sage 100 and 500 Administrator. Position is onsite in Las Vegas NV.
Description
The Sage 100 and 500 Administrator is responsible for managing and ensuring the efficient operation of the companys Sage 100 and 500 ERP systems in alignment with business processes and requirements. This involves the implementation configuration maintenance and upgrading of the Sage systems. The administrator will play a critical role in the planning and execution of change management strategies to support the Sage platforms using their strong communication and problemsolving skills to address any issues that arise in the deployment and operation of these critical systems.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning
  • Guarantee that the Sage 100 and 500 systems align with business needs meet user expectations and resolve system issues effectively.
  • Develop implement and monitor change management procedures for the Sage systems across the company.
  • Ensure that the integration of Sage 100 and 500 contributes positively to the functionality of operating systems networks telecommunications and other related technologies.
Acquisition & Deployment
  • Recommend any additional resources such as hardware or software to facilitate successful Sage deployments configurations or ongoing maintenance.
  • Designate and manage the team members involved in Sagerelated projects.
  • Manage contracts with Sage software and service providers ensuring favorable terms.
  • Coordinate with Sage vendors to address any problems or urgent situations promptly.
  • Assess proposals to spot potential issues and provide wellconsidered recommendations.
Operational Management
  • Oversee the installation configuration and deployment of Sage applications and enhancements across the organization.
  • Work collaboratively with analysts designers and system owners in the testing of Sage applications.
  • Confirm that Sage integrations are functional compliant and adhere to specified interface standards.
  • Monitor the Sage systems daily implementing patches and upgrades as necessary.
  • Prepare reports detailing activities and progress for the senior management team.
  • Guide the applications team in the maintenance and operation of Sage systems.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for new Sage products and advise accordingly.
  • Work with network administrators and software engineers on design specifications programming and data conversion.
Position Requirements
Formal Education & Certification
  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in computer science information systems business administration or an equivalent amount of work experience.
  • Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g. Sage certifications).
Knowledge & Experience
  • Significant experience in administering Sage 100 and 500 applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to guide the development and implementation of Sage ERP solutions.
  • Industry experience within sectors that commonly use Sage 100 and 500.
  • Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows and knowledge of database administration.
  • Understanding of enterpriselevel applications including ERP CRM data warehouses etc.

  • Solid project management capabilities.
  • Awareness of software quality assurance principles.
  • Serviceoriented with excellent organizational goals and objectives understanding.
  • Superior communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly.

  • Familiarity with data privacy standards and regulations.

  • Engagement in training presentations and meetings.
  • Some travel may be necessary for installations and system configurations.
