Ready for a new challenge Were seeking an enthusiastic Roughneck to join our innovative offshore Drillingteam at Geoquip Marine a leading Geotechnical site investigation company dedicated to the renewable energy sector.

Perform all duties in accordance with the Permit to Work System.
Familiar with proper handling and care of tubulars as well as threads.
Understand how to operate and handle drill pipe handling equipment.
Familiar with operations on the Drill Floor assist CPT Operator and Geotech Personnel during sampling and testing operations.
Perform routine maintenance on drilling equipment including but not limited to daily inspection and greasing of lubrication points on all associated equipment.
Capable of working at heights on the Derrick and Rooster box.
Assist Rig Mechanic maintenance and service main drilling equipment Derrick / Roosterbox HPU Compressor Mud Pump Mixing pump etc.
Maintain wire ropes and cables.
Perform housekeeping on the drill floor; conducts inspections as requested.
Mix and handle drilling mud.
Perform lifting operations / activities as directed assist with deck operations as they are carried out. (General Lift or Pipe Grapple Crane Operations).
Assist the welder and fire watcher during hot work activity.
Understand different types of paint curing agents and related equipment.
Prepare surfaces for painting using power tools; selects and uses proper equipment.
Dispose of all waste in accordance with Geoquip or Client Waste Management Plan.
Housekeeping: organize equipment and materials on deck to provide adequate working area.
Maintain documentation.
Secondary Job Function:
Assist in other areas of drilling operations and with other departments.
Perform other duties and special projects as requested by management
Qualifications/Experience:
Minimum of 1 year in similar role offshore experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid Offshore Survival
Valid Medical Certificate
Valid necessary visa to enter the EU or USA
Must pass preemployment and random drug test.
